A very early start, had a 5 1/2 hour trip ahead of me, umm wrong 6 1/2 hours. Had to cross a lake on a ferry which was 45 min late. Refuels on a Wednesday I was told.

The road from Nelson to Nakusp is very difficult to describe, perfect road, complete wilderness, forest, lakes and crystal clear rivers everywhere. My goggles are perfect and the best ride I have ever had. Bucket list stuff. Best coffee at this little place in Nakusp.
I met this very nice guy who waited in the queue before boarding the ferry. His son did an engineering degree then did the CFA and now doing an MBA. I mentioned our Nicholas and we both agreed our sons are a lot brighter than us but they both got our good looks🤭🤭🤭

Once over the lake which is 1000ft at its deepest the rest of the trip was easy flowing big high way with some fantastic views.

Tomorrow off to Lake Louise and Banff.
